Send the open action items of a meeting recorded with Krisp over WhatsApp
An AI agent finds your customer meeting in Krisp, sends the open action items on WhatsApp and marks done the ones the customer completed.
How do I remind a customer on WhatsApp about the action items left from the meeting I recorded with Krisp?
A Met connected to Krisp gets today's date, finds the meeting with the customer by date or participant and pulls its summary together with the action items Krisp recorded, with assignee and due date. It writes the customer on WhatsApp what is on their side and what is on your team's side. When the customer says they completed one, the Met finds that item by its id and marks it done in Krisp. Finally it confirms the next meeting with the time and video call link shown in your calendar. The Krisp MCP is part of its Core and Advanced plans.
What starts it
When the customer writes
It starts when the customer writes on WhatsApp after a meeting, for example to ask what comes next or to say they already sent something. There is no trigger to set up: the Met assigned to the line handles it inside that conversation.
Nothing to set up. The Met assigned to that channel picks up the conversation and runs the procedure inside it.
Who runs it
Met that serves ongoing customers
Customer service team
It is the Met that serves customers already working with your team on WhatsApp, with Krisp connected. Its work ends when the customer knows which action items are open and the completed ones are closed in Krisp.

- Krisp Automate and collaborate
6 steps · 6 tools
The procedure, step by step
Each step shows the tool that runs. They belong to the real connector: if one of them stopped existing, this page would not build.
- 1
Place the date of the conversation
The Met asks Krisp for the current date and time, to correctly translate what the customer says, such as Tuesday's meeting or last week's.
- 2
Find the meeting with the customer
With that date, the Met searches for the meeting by date range and participant, or by the email domain of the customer's company, and gets its id.
- 3
Pull the summary and action items
The Met asks for that meeting's summary and action items, the light parts of the document, and builds the reply with what Krisp recorded, not with what it remembers.
- 4
Split what is open from what is done
The Met lists that meeting's action items with assignee, due date and status, and writes the customer on WhatsApp the ones still open, separating theirs from your team's.
- 5
Close the item the customer completed
When the customer says they completed one, the Met marks it done in Krisp by its id, not its title. This step needs the complete action item action to be on.
- 6
Confirm the next meeting
The Met lists your meetings for the coming days and confirms the next one to the customer, with the time and video call link shown in your calendar.
Before you start
What you need ready
The Met solves none of these for you. If one is missing, the automation stops there.
-
The Krisp ready connector on the Core or Advanced plan
In Met, open Connections → Krisp → Connect, sign in to Krisp and authorize access. Krisp offers its MCP on the Core and Advanced plans.
-
A WhatsApp line with the Met assigned
You connect your WhatsApp Business API line in Met and assign the service Met. Krisp remains the memory of your meetings; the conversation happens on WhatsApp.
The limits
What this automation does NOT solve
Better said here than discovered halfway through the rollout.
-
It does not work if the meeting is not in Krisp. Without a recorded meeting there is no summary or action items to look up.
-
It does not ask anyone for confirmation before closing an item. If the action is on, the Met marks it done with what the customer said in the chat.
-
It does not create new action items. Krisp takes them from the meeting; if a new to do comes up in the chat, it is noted in another tool.
-
It does not send the customer the recording or the full transcript. This automation uses the summary and the action items, and the rest is shared from Krisp.
