Send the Read AI assistant to the customer's meeting and reply with what was agreed on WhatsApp

An AI agent sends Read AI to the meeting the customer booked, replies on WhatsApp with what was agreed and shares the report by email.

How do I get my customer meetings summarized and send the customer what was agreed on WhatsApp?

A Met connected to Read AI receives on WhatsApp the link to the Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams meeting the customer booked with your team and sends the Read AI assistant to that meeting at the given time. Later, when the customer asks, the Met finds the meeting by date, reads the summary and action items and replies with the commitments in the same conversation. If they want the details, it shares the report to their email, recap only or full, and leaves the meeting in that customer's folder in Read AI so your team has the history together.

What starts it

When the customer writes

It starts when the customer sends the link to a meeting with your team on WhatsApp, and goes on when they write back asking for what was agreed. There is no trigger to configure: the Met assigned to the line runs the procedure inside that conversation.

Nothing to set up. The Met assigned to that channel picks up the conversation and runs the procedure inside it.

Who runs it

Scheduling Met that supports customer meetings

Customer service team

This is not a named, seeded Met. It is the Met that already coordinates customer meetings on WhatsApp, with Read AI connected. Its work ends when the meeting has a report and the customer got what was agreed.

6 steps · 6 tools

The procedure, step by step

Each step shows the tool that runs. They belong to the real connector: if one of them stopped existing, this page would not build.

  1. 1

Send the assistant to the meeting

With the link the customer sent, the Met sends the Read AI assistant to the meeting at the agreed time. If one was already sent to that same meeting, Read AI does not create another and returns the existing one.

  2. 2

Find the meeting when the customer asks

When the customer writes asking for what was agreed, the Met lists the meetings on the meeting day, up to 10 per page, and keeps the one with that customer as a participant.

  3. 3

    Reply with the commitments

The Met opens the meeting and reads the summary, action items and key questions. It replies to the customer with the commitments and next steps, without pasting the whole transcript.

  4. 4

    Share the report by email

If the customer wants the details, the Met gives their email access to the report, as recap viewer or full viewer, as your team decided. It only works if the connected account owns or can edit the meeting.

  5. 5

    Find the customer's folder

The Met lists the Read AI folders and looks for that customer's one by name. If it does not find it, it leaves the meeting where it is and does not create folders on its own.

  6. 6

Leave the meeting in its folder

The Met adds the meeting to the customer's folder, so your team sees every meeting with them in one place. It needs edit access to that folder in Read AI.

FAQ

Questions about this automation

Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams. The Met takes the platform, ID and password from the link the customer sends.

Yes, Read AI has a topic search, but it takes 20 to 60 seconds. This procedure searches by date because the customer almost always knows when the meeting was.

They see the meeting summary in Read AI, without the full transcript. If you give full access, they see the whole report.

Not for the MCP server: Read AI offers it on every plan, including the free one. What your plan allows in Read AI still applies.
