Turn the text of a promotion into a video with Pictory over WhatsApp

You send your promotion text on WhatsApp and an AI agent builds the video in Pictory, shows you the preview and renders it.

How do I turn the text of a promotion into a video without leaving WhatsApp?

You write the promotion text to the Met on WhatsApp and say which network it is for. The Met checks how much you have left in Pictory, picks a Spanish voice from your account and your brand kit, and builds a vertical preview it sends you in 2 to 5 minutes. If something does not work for you, such as the title or a clip, it fixes it on the same preview, at no cost. Once you approve it, it renders it and sends you the MP4 link in 5 to 15 minutes. Stock clips and music cost nothing; video and voice minutes come out of your Pictory API subscription.

What starts it

When someone asks for it

It starts when someone at the business writes to the Met on WhatsApp with the text of a promotion and the network where it will run. There is no trigger to configure: the Met handles it inside that conversation.

A manual task: someone on the team runs it with a button, or asks the Met for it in chat.

Who runs it

Content Met that makes videos in Pictory

Studio team

This is not a named, seeded Met. It is an internal Met, with Pictory connected, that serves the owner or the marketing team on WhatsApp: its work ends when the person has the link to the video they approved.

5 steps · 7 tools

The procedure, step by step

Each step shows the tool that runs. They belong to the real connector: if one of them stopped existing, this page would not build.

  1. 1

    Check the balance before starting

The Met checks usage against your plan: video minutes, premium voice minutes and AI Credits. If there is not enough for a video, it tells you before building anything.

  2. 2

Pick the voice and the brand kit

The Met lists the premium voices on your account filtered by language and your brand kits by name. It uses the kit you set in the skill, so the video carries your logo, colors and fonts.

  3. 3

    Build the preview

With the promotion text, the voice, the kit and the vertical 9:16 format, the Met asks Pictory for the storyboard without rendering. It takes 2 to 5 minutes and returns a preview URL the Met sends you on WhatsApp.

  4. 4

Fix what you ask for on the same preview

If you reply "smaller title" or "change the clip in the second scene", the Met applies the change to the preview and the same link shows it. Editing the preview costs nothing.

  5. 5

Render the approved version and deliver the link

When you say it is good, the Met renders that preview with everything it had and checks the job until it finishes, in 5 to 15 minutes. It sends you the MP4 link, which also includes the thumbnail and subtitles.

FAQ

Questions about this automation

Yes. Pictory makes 16:9, 9:16 and 1:1. This procedure uses 9:16 because it is the format for stories and reels, but you can ask for another one in the same message.

It depends on your Pictory API subscription: the render uses video and voice minutes. Stock clips and music cost nothing, and neither does editing the preview.

You ask for the change on WhatsApp and the Met applies it on the same preview. A new scene or a new element, or some music changes, need a new preview.

Pictory allows it when the video is designed scene by scene, and it uses AI Credits. This procedure uses stock clips, which cost nothing.
