Check on WhatsApp how a Braze campaign performed

An AI agent finds your Braze campaign or Canvas and answers on WhatsApp with sends, opens, clicks, conversions and revenue.

How do I find out on WhatsApp how a Braze campaign performed without opening the dashboard?

You write to the Met on WhatsApp something like "how did the anniversary campaign do?". The Met finds the Braze workspace, looks up the campaign by name in the list, gets its details and its daily series, and answers with sends, opens, clicks and conversions for the period you asked about. If you are asking about a Canvas, it gets its results summary. And if you want context, it adds the revenue for the same period. Everything is read only: the Met does not touch or stop the campaign, and it only sees what your Braze user can see.

What starts it

When someone asks for it

It starts when someone on the team writes to the Met on WhatsApp to ask about a campaign or a Canvas. There is no trigger to configure: the Met answers inside that conversation.

A manual task: someone on the team runs it with a button, or asks the Met for it in chat.

Who runs it

Campaign analyst Met for Braze

Social team

This is not a named, seeded Met. It is an internal Met, with Braze connected, that answers the marketing team on WhatsApp: its work ends when the person has the figures they asked for, taken from Braze and not from memory.

5 steps · 6 tools

The procedure, step by step

Each step shows the tool that runs. They belong to the real connector: if one of them stopped existing, this page would not build.

  1. 1

    Find the workspace

The Met lists the Braze workspaces the connection can reach and keeps the right one, because the other requests need that ID. If there are several, it asks which one before going on.

  2. 2

    Find the campaign by name

The Met lists campaigns with their name, ID and tags, and looks for the one the person named. If two look alike, it shows the options instead of choosing on its own.

  3. 3

    Get the campaign's data

With the ID, the Met gets the campaign's information to confirm it is the right one before giving figures, and then its daily series of sends, opens, clicks and conversions by channel for the period the person asked about.

  4. 4

Summarize a Canvas when the question is about a journey

If the person is asking about a Canvas and not a campaign, the Met gets the rolled up summary of its results. Canvas tools are read only, so it changes nothing in the journey.

  5. 5

Put the figures in context with revenue

When the person asks, the Met checks the total money spent in your app over the same period and reports it next to the campaign results, without claiming that one caused the other.

FAQ

Questions about this automation

Yes, if you name both: it gets each one's series for the same period and answers with the figures for both, side by side.

Whoever writes to the Met's line gets what the connected Braze user can see. That is why you should connect a user with the permissions the team should see.

They are what Braze returns at the time of the request. The Met keeps no copy, so the next question queries Braze again.

No. The six tools in this procedure are read only: they list and get details and series. None of them edits or stops the campaign.
