Confirm on WhatsApp what was discussed during an in person visit recorded with Plaud

An AI agent reads the Plaud recording of your visit to the customer and confirms on WhatsApp the measurements, scope and pending items agreed.

How do I confirm to a customer on WhatsApp what we discussed during the visit, if I recorded it with Plaud?

A Met connected to your Plaud account finds the visit's recording by the customer's name and the date, pulls the summary with action items and key topics, and writes to the customer on WhatsApp what was discussed: the scope of the work, the measurements, what the customer committed to send and what comes next. If the customer doubts a figure, the Met pulls the transcript with timestamps and quotes the exact sentence of whoever said it. It works for technicians, contractors, designers or advisors who visit customers in person and record with Plaud. Everything is read only: the Met does not change or delete the recording.

What starts it

When the customer writes

It starts when the visited customer writes on WhatsApp to ask for the visit summary or about a figure that was discussed. There is no trigger to configure: the line's Met runs the procedure inside that conversation.

Nothing to set up. The Met assigned to that channel picks up the conversation and runs the procedure inside it.

Who runs it

Service Met that confirms what was said in each visit

Customer service team

This is not a named, seeded Met. It is the Met that answers the business's WhatsApp, with Plaud connected to the account of whoever does the visits. Its work ends when the customer gets what was discussed in writing, or when a question goes to the person who visited them.

The procedure, step by step

Each step shows the tool that runs. They belong to the real connector: if one of them stopped existing, this page would not build.

  1. 1

    Confirm the connected Plaud account

The Met checks which Plaud account is connected, so it searches the account of the person who did the visit and not another team account.

  2. 2

    Find the visit's recording

The Met searches your recordings with a word from the name, for example the customer's last name or the address, and with the visit's date range.

  3. 3

    Open the recording's details

The Met opens the recording to confirm it is the right one by its date, start time and duration, before reading the content.

  4. 4

Read the summary and the tasks

The Met pulls the summary Plaud generated, with action items and key topics, and writes the customer a short message with what was agreed and what comes next on each side.

  5. 5

Quote the exact sentence if there is a doubt

If the customer asks about a measurement, a price or a deadline, the Met pulls the transcript with timestamps and speakers, and answers with the sentence as it was said.

FAQ

Questions about this automation

No, unless you ask for it in the skill. The Met sends a short summary of what was agreed and quotes the transcript only when there is a specific doubt.

The Met tells them apart by the recording's name and start time. If it cannot tell which one it is, it asks the customer or whoever did the visit.

Yes, if the call ended up as a recording in your Plaud account. The procedure is the same as for a visit.

Through the server Plaud hosts in the US, which according to its documentation processes the data in transit and does not keep it after each request.
