Plaud and Meteor AI agents
Connect Plaud to a WhatsApp Met: find recordings from your Plaud recorder, read their summary, tasks and transcript with its hosted MCP.
How does Plaud connect to Meteor?
With the Plaud ready connector, your Met reads the recordings from your Plaud recorder through the MCP server Plaud hosts, authorized once with your account. It searches recordings by name and date range, opens one in detail, pulls the summary with action items and key topics, and the full transcript with timestamps and who spoke. It works for visits, consultations and in person calls you recorded with Plaud: the Met answers on WhatsApp what was said without you listening to the audio again. All five tools are read only and usage runs on your Plaud account.
What it automates
What a Meteor Met does with Plaud
Confirm what was said during a visit
After a visit recorded with Plaud, the Met finds the recording by date and name, pulls the summary and confirms to the customer on WhatsApp what was agreed.
Quote an exact sentence from the call
If there is a doubt about a measurement, a figure or a deadline, the Met pulls the transcript with its timestamps and quotes what each person said.
Send the pending tasks
The Met pulls the action items Plaud extracted from the recording and sends them to you on WhatsApp, so no request from the meeting gets lost.
5 tools
Everything your Met can ask Plaud for
Each one is a real action in the connector. You can switch off the ones you would rather it never used.
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
list_files | Lists your recordings; filters by a word in the name and by a date range. |
get_file | Returns a recording's details, with a temporary audio link that expires in 24 hours. |
get_note | Returns the summary Plaud generated, with action items and key topics. |
get_transcript | Returns the full transcript with timestamps and speaker labels. |
get_current_user | Shows the details of the connected Plaud account. |
The limits
What the Plaud integration does NOT do
We would rather say it here than have you find out during rollout.
-
It does not record. Your Plaud device or app records; the Met only reads what is already in your account.
-
It does not edit, rename or delete recordings. The five tools of the hosted server are read only.
-
It does not keep a copy of the audio. The link Plaud returns expires in 24 hours; if it is needed again, the Met asks for it again.
-
It does not pay your Plaud account. Usage runs on your account and plan; Meteor does not resell the service.
Before you start
