Whatagraph and Meteor AI agents
Connect Whatagraph to a Met: check your clients' sources, read metrics, measure goals and export reports as PDF with the official MCP.
How does Whatagraph connect to Meteor?
With the Whatagraph ready connector, your Met enters the Whatagraph team you chose when authorizing and gets 28 tools. It goes through each client's spaces, their reports, tabs and widgets, reads metrics from sources already connected for a date range, checks on the spot whether a source still responds and measures goals against recent data. It also exports a report as Excel or PDF. If your plan includes the write tools and the admin leaves them on, it creates and changes reports, widgets, goals, scheduled deliveries and share links. Deleting reports and links starts switched off. The service is paid by your Whatagraph plan.
What it automates
What a Meteor Met does with Whatagraph
Check whether a client's source went down
Before telling you a client's account stopped connecting, the Met asks the provider right then whether the source still responds, because the stored status can be stale.
Answer how much was spent
You ask the Met on WhatsApp how much a client spent last week. The Met reads the metric from the already connected source for that range and replies with the figure.
Send a report as PDF
The Met exports the client's report as PDF and gives you the download link, which expires in 1 hour, without changing how the report is shared.
Measure the month's goals
The Met measures a client's goals against freshly fetched data and tells you which are on track and which are not.
28 tools
Everything your Met can ask Whatagraph for
Each one is a real action in the connector. You can switch off the ones you would rather it never used.
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
list_spaces | Lists the spaces, the client folders that organize reports and data sources. |
list_reports | Lists the reports in each space, with their space, how many tabs they have and which integrations they use. |
list_report_tabs | Lists the tabs, or pages, of a report. |
list_widgets | Lists the widgets on a report's tabs, such as charts, tables, single values, funnels and goals, with their details. |
list_sources | Lists the data sources connected to the team, such as a Google Ads account or a GA4 property. |
verify_source | Asks the provider right then whether a connected source still responds, because the stored status can be out of date. |
fetch_data | Reads marketing metrics from an already connected source for a date range, optionally grouped by dimensions. It does not connect new accounts. |
list_blends | Lists the data blends, which join several sources into one virtual source for cross channel reporting. |
list_source_groups | Lists the source groups, which aggregate several sources into one. |
view_goals | Shows the metric goals and measures them against freshly fetched data to say whether each one is on track. |
list_overviews | Lists the overviews, the KPI dashboards that track metrics over time. |
list_automations | Lists the scheduled report deliveries, such as the ones sent by email. |
view_sharing | Shows how reports and overviews are shared, and their public links. |
view_team | Shows the team settings, the subscription and the available roles, and searches across reports, overviews, spaces, blends and source groups. |
export_report | Exports a report as Excel or PDF without changing how it is shared. It returns a download link that expires in 1 hour; Excel needs a plan feature and the PDF is built separately and collected later. |
list_integrations | Lists the integration catalog and the accounts you already authorized. It does not authorize new accounts. |
list_skills | Shows Whatagraph's step by step guides for each task. |
load_skill | Loads one of Whatagraph's step by step guides by its name. |
view_creatives | Shows the actual ad images in a report's media widgets, such as Facebook, Google, LinkedIn or TikTok ones, to review the creatives. |
list_custom_metrics | Lists the custom metrics built with formulas or aggregations. |
list_ai_visibility | Lists the AI visibility monitors: brands tracked across AI answer engines through monitored prompts, with 30 day stats. |
manage_goals | Creates and updates metric goals. |
manage_reports | Creates, duplicates and updates reports, and manages their attached data sources. |
manage_widgets | Creates, updates and duplicates widgets on a report's tabs. |
manage_automations | Creates and updates scheduled report deliveries, with schedule, recipients and format, and approves the next delivery. Updating replaces the lists: what is left out is removed. |
manage_sharing | Creates and updates share links for reports and overviews, with an optional password. |
delete_reports | Permanently deletes reports, with their tabs, widgets, deliveries, links and snapshots. It runs in two steps, a preview without changes and the execution with a single use token. It starts switched off. |
delete_sharing | Removes public links from reports and overviews; links already handed out stop working. It runs in the same two steps. It starts switched off. |
The limits
What the Whatagraph integration does NOT do
We would rather say it here than have you find out during rollout.
-
It does not reconnect broken sources or authorize new accounts. That is done in Whatagraph; the Met only reads the sources already connected.
-
It does not create, change or delete anything if your plan does not include those tools. Reading works on every Whatagraph plan.
-
It does not delete reports or public links while those two actions stay off, as they start. And even when on, Whatagraph runs them in two steps, with a single use token.
-
It does not ask for confirmation in the chat before writing: the admin decides in Connections which actions stay on, such as creating public links or scheduling report deliveries.
-
It does not see other Whatagraph teams. It only reaches the team you chose when authorizing.
-
It does not pay your Whatagraph plan or the platforms you connect there. Meteor does not resell the service.
Before you start
What you need to connect Whatagraph
- 1
A Whatagraph account
Reading works on every plan. Creating, updating and deleting reports is only available on the plans that include those tools.
- 2
Connect Whatagraph in Met
In Met, open Connections → Whatagraph → Connect. A Whatagraph window opens so you choose the team and approve Met's access.
- 3
Your clients' sources connected in Whatagraph
The ads, analytics or social accounts you want to query have to be connected as data sources in the Whatagraph team.
Frequently asked questions
Questions about Whatagraph and Meteor
Those in the Whatagraph team you chose when authorizing, organized by spaces. What is in another Whatagraph team it does not see.
Because outside Whatagraph's own chat the export gives a temporary link that expires in 1 hour. Ask the Met to export it again.
Yes, if your plan includes that tool and the admin leaves it on. The link stays open to anyone who has it, with an optional password.
You do, with your Whatagraph plan. Met does not charge for the queries your Met makes to Whatagraph.
