VWO and Meteor AI agents
Connect VWO to a WhatsApp Met: check A/B test reports, heatmaps and recordings of your website, and work out how many visits a test needs.
How does VWO connect to Meteor?
With the VWO ready connector, your Met queries your VWO account (now Wingify) through its official MCP server, authorized once with OAuth. It lists your campaigns, pulls the full report of an A/B test with its variations and goals, and its day by day performance; it analyzes a page's heatmap and summarizes its session recordings. It also works out the sample size a test needs. If the admin allows it, it creates, clones or configures A/B and split URL tests; starting, pausing or stopping a campaign starts switched off. You choose the permission level when authorizing, and usage runs on your VWO plan.
What it automates
What a Meteor Met does with VWO
Answer how a test is going
You ask the Met on WhatsApp how the test on your pricing page is going. It pulls the campaign's report with its variations and goals, and replies with what VWO records.
Work out how much traffic it needs
Before launching a test, the Met works out the sample size it needs, so you know whether your website gets enough visits for the test to tell you anything.
Understand where people click
The Met analyzes a page's heatmap and summarizes its recordings, and tells you in the chat where your visitors click and how far down they scroll.
Prepare the next test
If the admin left creation on, the Met creates a new A/B test from what you describe, or clones one that already worked to change a detail.
14 tools
Everything your Met can ask VWO for
Each one is a real action in the connector. You can switch off the ones you would rather it never used.
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
get_campaigns_overview_tool | Lists all campaigns in the account with a summary of each one. |
fetch_campaign_report_tool | Returns a campaign's full report, with its variations and goals. |
fetch_campaign_daywise_data_report_tool | Returns a campaign's performance metrics day by day. |
calculate_sample_size_tool | Works out the sample size a Bayesian A/B test needs. |
get_heatmap_clicks_tool | Analyzes a page's heatmap, with its click and scroll patterns. |
get_recording_data_tool | Summarizes session recordings for a page or a time period. |
get_account_details_tool | Returns the account's settings and configuration. |
get_campaign_variation_code_tool | Returns the code of a campaign variation. |
get_data360_entities | Returns data from VWO's data platform, such as visitor segments and attributes. |
create_ab_campaign | Creates a new A/B test from a natural language description. |
create_split_url_campaign | Creates a new split URL test. |
clone_wingify_campaign_tool | Creates a copy of an existing campaign. |
update_campaign_config | Changes the settings of an existing campaign. |
update_campaign_status | Starts, pauses or stops a campaign. Starts switched off by the connector's setup. |
The limits
What the VWO integration does NOT do
We would rather say it here than have you find out during rollout.
-
It does not start, pause or stop campaigns with the initial setup: that action starts switched off and the admin decides whether to turn it on.
-
It does not ask you for confirmation in the chat before creating or changing a test. The admin chooses in Connections which actions stay on, and the permission level is chosen when authorizing.
-
It does not handle multivariate tests through this connector. According to VWO, the server only creates and manages A/B and split URL tests.
-
It does not work as is for accounts hosted in Europe or Asia. The connector uses VWO's global server, and those regions have their own address.
-
It does not pay your VWO plan. Usage runs on your account; Meteor does not resell the service.
Before you start
What you need to connect VWO
- 1
A VWO account with campaigns
Your website's VWO account, in the global region, with campaigns, heatmaps or recordings already set up.
- 2
Connect it in Met
In Met, open Connections → VWO → Connect. A VWO window opens to choose the account and the permission level: Browse only reads, Design creates tests and Publish or Admin controls the tests.
- 3
Decide which actions stay on
The workspace admin reviews the list of actions. Changing a campaign's status starts switched off.
Frequently asked questions
Questions about VWO and Meteor
Not with the initial setup. Starting, pausing or stopping campaigns starts switched off; if the admin turns it on and the permission allows it, the Met can do it.
If you only want to check reports, Browse, which is read only. Design allows creating tests, and Publish or Admin gives full control over tests.
Yes. VWO now appears under the Wingify brand, and its MCP server uses the wingify.ai domain. The connector is called VWO in Met.
You do, with your VWO plan. Meteor does not resell VWO: the connector uses your business's account and follows the limits VWO sets for that account.
