vidIQ and Meteor AI agents
Connect vidIQ to a Met: YouTube keywords, trending videos, channel stats and your own channel analytics through the official MCP server.
How does vidIQ connect to Meteor?
With the vidIQ ready connector, your Met queries vidIQ using the account the admin authorizes. It researches YouTube keywords, finds trending videos and the videos that stand out on a topic, pulls the stats of a channel or a video, reads a video's transcript and comments, and finds tracks how a channel's performance evolves and finds similar channels and videos. It also checks the analytics of your own channels. With that it suggests what to film based on data, not guesswork. Usage runs on your vidIQ account and plan.
What it automates
What a Meteor Met does with vidIQ
Video ideas backed by data, every week
A scheduled task checks how your channel did, looks at what is trending in your topic and which videos stand out, researches the keywords and sends you a short list of ideas to film, each one with the search behind it.
Study a topic before filming
You tell the Met the topic of your next video. It searches YouTube, researches the keywords, finds the videos that worked best and reads their transcripts so you can see what they covered and what was left unanswered.
Look at a competitor or a benchmark channel
The Met finds the channel, pulls its stats and its videos, finds similar channels and summarizes what they publish, how often, and which of their videos stand out.
Pull questions out of the comments
The Met reads the comments on your videos or on videos in your sector and groups the questions that keep coming up. Those questions are often your next video, and also what your customers ask on WhatsApp.

The limits
What the vidIQ integration does NOT do
We would rather say it here than have you find out during rollout.
-
It does not publish videos on your channel. The tools in this listing query data; filming and publishing is still your job.
-
Earnings are vidIQ estimates, not what YouTube pays you. For your real income, check your YouTube account.
-
What it brings from Instagram and TikTok comes, according to vidIQ, from third parties and from its own data collection, not from Meta's official API.
-
It does not describe every tool on the server. vidIQ also declares tools to generate scripts, titles and clips or edit footage, which this listing leaves out because vidIQ does not publish what each one does.
-
It does not pay your vidIQ plan. Usage runs on your account and plan; Meteor does not resell the service.
Before you start
What you need to connect vidIQ
- 1
A vidIQ account
The account you use vidIQ with. The analytics of your channels come from the channels you have on that account.
- 2
Connect it in Met
In Met, open Connections → vidIQ → Connect. A vidIQ window opens so you can sign in and authorize Met. Then you choose which actions stay on.
Frequently asked questions
Questions about vidIQ and Meteor
Yes. Channel stats, a channel's videos and similar channels work with any public channel. The analytics of your own channels come from your vidIQ account.
Not with the tools in this listing: all of them query data. The Met suggests topics, titles and keywords, and you decide what to film and publish.
No. They are estimates calculated by vidIQ. They help compare channels or topics with each other, not to know what YouTube pays a channel.
You do, with your own vidIQ plan. Meteor does not resell vidIQ: the connector uses your account and stays within what your plan allows.
