Todoist and Meteor AI agents

Connect Todoist to a WhatsApp Met: create tasks with a due date and assignee, check what is due and leave comments, with the official MCP.

How does Todoist connect to Meteor?

With the Todoist ready connector, your WhatsApp Met works in your company's Todoist projects using the account the admin authorizes. It gives the Met 25 tools: it creates tasks with a due date, priority, labels and an assignee, finds tasks by text, project or date, reads comments and leaves new comments for the team. That way, what a customer orders on WhatsApp becomes a task in the right project, and when they ask how it is going, the Met checks Todoist. It is Todoist's official server: usage runs on your plan, and deleting, completing or reassigning tasks starts switched off until the admin turns it on.

What it automates

What a Meteor Met does with Todoist

Turn every WhatsApp order into a task

When a customer orders something on WhatsApp, the Met creates the task in the project and section your team uses, with the agreed due date, the priority and the assignee, and writes what the customer asked for in the description.

Answer how an order is going

If the customer asks about their order, the Met finds the task by its name or the text of the order, reads its details and the team's comments and replies with what Todoist says.

Tell the team what is due today

The Met pulls the tasks in a date range, overdue ones included, or a project summary by section, and sums it up for the team member who asks.

Add context with a comment

When the customer adds a detail, such as a measurement or a new address, the Met leaves it as a comment on the task and can notify the project's collaborators.

The limits

What the Todoist integration does NOT do

We would rather say it here than have you find out during rollout.

Before you start

What you need to connect Todoist

  1. 1

A Todoist account with the projects the Met will use

Connect with an account that can see the projects where your team tracks orders and that collaborates with the people tasks will be assigned to, because the connector works with that account's permissions.

  2. 2

    Connect it in Met

In Met, open Connections → Todoist → Connect. A Todoist window opens so you can sign in and authorize Met. Then you choose which actions stay on.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about Todoist and Meteor

Yes, when it creates the task, if that person collaborates on the project. Assigning, unassigning or reassigning several tasks at once is a separate action, and it starts switched off until the admin turns it on.

Only if the admin turns those actions on, because both start switched off. While they stay off, the Met creates, searches and comments, but it does not close or delete anything.

Only if the admin turns on the task update action, which starts switched off. While it stays off, the Met leaves the change as a comment and your team adjusts the date in Todoist.

You do, with your own Todoist plan. Meteor does not resell Todoist: the connector uses your company's account and what that plan allows.
