SE Ranking and Meteor AI agents
Connect SE Ranking to a Met: domain traffic, competitors, keywords, backlinks and audits with the official MCP and your credits.
How does SE Ranking connect to Meteor?
With the SE Ranking ready connector, your Met queries the SE Ranking Data API with the main account the admin authorizes. It reviews a domain's traffic and keyword overview and its history, its organic or paid competitors, the keywords another domain has and you do not, keyword ideas and questions, real time Google results and the backlink profile. It also creates and reads site audits and lists your projects. The Data API is charged in credits from your account, and checking your subscription does not spend them.
What it automates
What a Meteor Met does with SE Ranking
Answer who beats you on Google
You ask the Met on WhatsApp who competes with you on Google. The Met checks your domain's organic competitors in your country database and replies with the domains and what they have in common with you.
Find the keywords your site is missing
The Met compares your domain with a competitor's and lists the keywords they show up for and you do not, so you decide which page to write.
Review new and lost backlinks
The Met returns your domain's backlink summary and tells you which links and domains you gained or lost, with the most used anchor texts.
Audit a site on request
When you ask, the Met creates an audit of your site, checks it when it finishes and tells you which issues it found and on which pages. The audit spends credits.

The limits
What the SE Ranking integration does NOT do
We would rather say it here than have you find out during rollout.
-
It does not query for free. The Data API is charged in credits from your account, and a broad question can need several queries; only checking your subscription spends no credits.
-
It does not work with a sub account. In a shared workspace, API access lives in the main account: that is the one you connect.
-
It does not list here the actions that write to your projects. The server also has tools to create or change projects, tracked keywords and competitors; the ones that delete start turned off and the rest arrive on, and the admin decides in Connections whether to keep them.
-
It does not always return the full list at once. For very popular domains, the competitor or keyword list can be larger than what the connector delivers in a single response.
-
It does not ask for confirmation in the chat before creating an audit: the admin decides which actions stay on in Connections.
-
It does not pay your SE Ranking plan. Usage runs on your account and your credits; Meteor does not resell the service.
Before you start
What you need to connect SE Ranking
- 1
A main SE Ranking account with API access
The data you can query depends on your SE Ranking subscription, and the Data API is charged in credits. You connect the main account, not a sub account.
- 2
Connect it in Met
In Met, open Connections → SE Ranking → Connect. An SE Ranking window opens so you sign in and authorize Met.
Frequently asked questions
Questions about SE Ranking and Meteor
The Met tells you with the subscription tool, which returns your plan and the remaining API credits without spending any.
Because sub accounts in a shared workspace cannot connect tools with the SE Ranking sign in. API access is in the main account.
Yes. The Data API returns data for any domain, so the Met can review a competitor's traffic, keywords or backlinks with the same tools.
No. According to SE Ranking, not every endpoint of its API is available through MCP, and the data depends on your subscription. This page lists the 32 verified tools.
You do, with your SE Ranking plan and credits. Met does not charge for the queries your Met makes to SE Ranking.
