Lucid and Meteor AI agents
Connect Lucid to a WhatsApp Met: find and read your diagrams, create org charts, mind maps and flows, and share them with the official MCP server.
How does Lucid connect to Meteor?
With the Lucid ready-made connector, your Met uses Lucid's official MCP server on the account the admin authorizes with OAuth. From WhatsApp it can search your Lucid documents and read their content, create an org chart, a mind map, a sequence diagram or a diagram from a specification, export it as a PNG image, create a link to share it or share it with specific people. It reaches the documents the connected account can open. The diagrams it creates are static: they do not update on their own if your data changes.
What it automates
What a Meteor Met does with Lucid
Build the team's org chart
The owner sends on WhatsApp who is who on the team. The Met creates the org chart in Lucid, exports it as an image and sends it back in the conversation.
Draw a process that lives in someone's head
Someone describes on WhatsApp how an order is handled from start to finish. The Met turns it into a flowchart in Lucid so the whole team sees it the same way.
Answer with what is already diagrammed
When someone asks how a process works, the Met finds the diagram in Lucid, opens it and answers with what it says, instead of everyone telling it differently.
Share the document with whoever needs it
The Met creates a link to share the diagram or shares it with specific collaborators, such as the new hire or the accountant.

The limits
What the Lucid integration does NOT do
We would rather say it here than have you find out during rollout.
-
It does not ask for confirmation in the chat before creating or sharing a document. The admin decides in Connections which actions stay on; if sharing worries you, leave it off.
-
It does not create diagrams linked to your data: Lucid says what it builds through MCP is a static version that does not update on its own when the source changes.
-
It does not see documents from people outside your Lucid account, or the ones the connected account has no permission to open.
-
It does not work on Team or Enterprise accounts until a Lucid admin enables MCP access.
Before you start
What you need to connect Lucid
- 1
A Lucid account with MCP access
On Team and Enterprise accounts, a Lucid admin enables MCP access first. The connection reaches the documents that account can open.
- 2
Connect it in Met
In Met, open Connections → Lucid → Connect. A Lucid window opens so you can sign in and approve access. Then you choose which actions stay on.
Frequently asked questions
Questions about Lucid and Meteor
Org charts, mind maps, sequence diagrams and diagrams from a specification, such as a flow. Lucid says it can generate any diagram type it supports.
Not on its own: the diagram the Met creates is static. When the team changes, you ask the Met for a new org chart or edit it in Lucid.
It can create links and share with collaborators if those actions are on. If you do not want it to share, leave them off in Connections.
You do, with your Lucid plan. Meteor does not resell Lucid: the connector uses your company's account and follows its permissions.
