Granola and Meteor AI agents

Connect Granola to a WhatsApp Met: find your meetings, read their notes and what was shown on screen, and quote the transcript with the official MCP.

How does Granola connect to Meteor?

With the Granola ready connector, your Met reads the meeting notes of the person who authorizes the connection, through Granola's official MCP server. It lists meetings with their date and attendees, opens their notes and summaries, shows what was shared on screen and, on paid plans, pulls the full transcript to quote what was said. That way it answers on WhatsApp what was agreed with a customer without anyone digging through their notes. It only sees notes from the active Granola workspace, and on the free plan only those from the last 30 days. Usage runs on your Granola plan.

What it automates

What a Meteor Met does with Granola

Answer what was agreed with a customer

When the customer asks on WhatsApp what was agreed, the Met finds the meeting with that person, reads the notes and the summary, and replies with the agreements that were written down.

Answer what was shown in the presentation

If the question is about a slide or a table that was shared, the Met opens the meeting's screenshots and answers with what they show.

Quote exactly what was said

On a paid Granola plan, the Met pulls the transcript and quotes the exact sentence, for example the deadline or the condition someone mentioned on the call.

Prepare the next meeting

Before you meet someone again, the Met lists your previous meetings with that person and sums up on WhatsApp what was left pending.

8 tools

Everything your Met can ask Granola for

Each one is a real action in the connector. You can switch off the ones you would rather it never used.

Tool What it does
list_meeting_folders Lists the folders you can access, with their title and how many notes they hold. Paid plans only.
list_meetings Lists meeting notes with their title, date and attendees; on paid plans it filters by folder.
get_meetings Reads meeting notes, with attendees, private notes and the summary.
get_meeting_attachment Shows the screenshots of what was shared on screen, such as slides or charts.
get_meeting_transcript Returns a meeting's full transcript. Paid plans only.
get_account_info Returns the email, active workspace and workspaces of the connected Granola account.

The limits

What the Granola integration does NOT do

We would rather say it here than have you find out during rollout.

Before you start

What you need to connect Granola

  1. 1

A Granola account with saved meetings

The account of whoever takes the notes, with meetings already recorded. Transcripts and folders need a paid Granola plan.

  2. 2

    Connect it in Met

In Met, open Connections → Granola → Connect. A Granola window opens so you can sign in with your account's email and authorize access.

  3. 3

    Pick the right workspace

If you belong to several Granola workspaces, keep your business's one active in the app before using the Met: the connector only reads that one.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about Granola and Meteor

Yes, the connected account's: reading meetings also returns private notes. Keep in mind what you share with the customer and write it in the Met's skill.

Partly. On Basic the Met sees personal notes from the last 30 days, but not transcripts or folders, which need a paid plan.

It depends on the plan. On Business it sees your personal notes and the workspace's public ones; on Enterprise the Granola admin decides the connector's scope.

You do, with your Granola plan. Meteor does not resell Granola: the connector uses the authorizing account and follows the limits Granola sets for it.
