Fireflies and Meteor AI agents

Connect Fireflies to a WhatsApp Met: find the meeting, send the summary and action items, and share the transcript with the official MCP.

How does Fireflies connect to Meteor?

With the Fireflies ready connector, your Met uses Fireflies' official MCP server on your account, authorized once with OAuth. It can search for a meeting by keyword, date or participant, read its summary with the agreed action items and keywords, and share the transcript with the email of whoever needs it. It also sorts meetings into channels, renames them, creates short clips of a moment in the meeting and brings team metrics. Fireflies marks advanced search and full meeting retrieval as experimental, so they may not be on your account yet.

What it automates

What a Meteor Met does with Fireflies

Send what was agreed in the meeting

The customer writes on WhatsApp asking for what was agreed. Your Met finds the meeting they took part in, reads the Fireflies summary and replies with the action items and next steps.

Share the transcript by email

If the customer wants the details, the Met shares the meeting transcript with their email, with an expiry of 7, 14 or 30 days.

Sort meetings by customer

The Met moves the meeting into that customer's channel in Fireflies and gives it a clear title, so your team finds it later without searching.

Review how the team's meetings are going

From the internal chat, your team asks the Met for the month's metrics and it brings them from Fireflies: number of meetings, duration and how the conversation was shared.

The limits

What the Fireflies integration does NOT do

We would rather say it here than have you find out during rollout.

Before you start

What you need to connect Fireflies

  1. 1

A Fireflies account with recorded meetings

The account Fireflies records your meetings with. The Met only finds what that account can see in Fireflies.

  2. 2

    Connect Fireflies in Met

In Met, open Connections → Fireflies → Connect. A Fireflies window opens so you can sign in and authorize Met.

  3. 3

    Decide which actions stay on

The workspace admin chooses which actions stay on. Removing shared access starts turned off.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about Fireflies and Meteor

Yes, with full meeting retrieval, which Fireflies marks as experimental. The summary with action items and keywords is available without depending on it.

With the emails the Met passes to Fireflies, up to 100 at a time, if the connected account owns the meeting or is a team admin. Access can expire after 7, 14 or 30 days.

Your plan's: Fireflies applies its API limits to the MCP. On Free it is 500 requests per day and on Pro 5000; on Business and Enterprise, 60 per minute per paid seat.

You do, with your Fireflies account and plan. Met does not resell Fireflies or charge for the calls your Met makes to it.
