Ask your Met on WhatsApp how your site is doing on Google with Semrush data

Ask on WhatsApp how your site is doing on Google: an AI agent reads the overview, keywords and competitors in Semrush.

How do I know how my site is doing on Google without opening Semrush every week?

You write to your Met on WhatsApp something like "how are we doing on Google this month?". The Met finds the overview report for your domain in Semrush, checks which parameters it needs, runs it and replies with the estimated organic traffic and the keywords that bring you the most. If you ask for more, it checks your organic keywords with their position and the competitors that show up for the same searches. Everything comes from Semrush, with your account and your API units: the Met does not change your projects and does not make up a figure the report does not return.

What starts it

When someone asks for it

It starts when someone on the team writes to the Met and asks about the site or a keyword. There is no report that arrives by itself every week: each query is a question and spends its own API units.

A manual task: someone on the team runs it with a button, or asks the Met for it in chat.

Who runs it

Analytics Met that answers with Semrush data

This is not a named, seeded Met. It is an internal Met for your team with Semrush connected: its work ends when it replies with the numbers the report returned, or when it tells you which report it could not bring and why.

6 steps · 6 tools

The procedure, step by step

Each step shows the tool that runs. They belong to the real connector: if one of them stopped existing, this page would not build.

  1. 1

    Find the domain overview report

The Met uses the domain overview tool to find the report that matches your question, for example the organic overview of your domain in the database of the country where you sell.

  2. 2

Check which parameters the report needs

Before running it, the Met asks for the report schema to learn its fields: domain, country database and columns. That way it does not build the query blind or spend units on a call Semrush will reject.

  3. 3

    Run the report and answer

The Met runs the report with those parameters and replies with the estimated organic traffic and the figures it returned. If the report comes back empty for your country, it says so instead of filling in with another database.

  4. 4

See the keywords that bring you traffic

If you ask which searches bring you visits, the Met finds the organic search report, runs it for your domain and lists the main keywords with their position.

  5. 5

Compare yourself with whoever competes for the same searches

If you want to know who you compete with, the Met finds the organic competitors report, runs it and names the domains that show up for your same keywords.

  6. 6

Check the volume of a new keyword

When you are planning a new page or campaign, the Met checks the keyword research report and tells you its volume and difficulty according to Semrush.

FAQ

Questions about this automation

Yes. Semrush reports accept any domain, so the Met can check a competitor's overview or keywords with the same tools.

It depends on the report and how many rows it asks for. You see the balance in your Semrush profile, under subscription info, and quick questions should ask for few rows.

This procedure runs on request. A scheduled run would be a different automation, with its own trigger, and each run would still spend units from your plan.

Because Semrush has no data for that domain in the country database that was queried. The Met tells you so instead of filling in with another country.
