Put the month's promotion at the top of your Linktree from WhatsApp

You send the promotion link to an AI agent on WhatsApp: it adds it to the top of your Linktree, turns off the old one and reports its clicks.

How do I change the promotion link on my Linktree without opening the app, and know whether people click it?

You write to your Met on WhatsApp the link and name of the month's promotion. The Met finds your Linktree profile, checks its links, adds the new one and moves it to the top of the page you link from your Instagram or TikTok bio. Then it deactivates the previous promotion's link so it does not confuse anyone, without deleting it. Days later, if you ask, it tells you how many clicks and views the new link has and its click-through rate. Everything lands on your public Linktree page.

What starts it

When someone asks for it

It starts when someone on the team sends the Met the new promotion link on WhatsApp. Measuring clicks is also on demand; this procedure does not leave a scheduled report.

A manual task: someone on the team runs it with a button, or asks the Met for it in chat.

Who runs it

Marketing Met that keeps your Linktree up to date

Social team

This is not a named, seeded Met. It is an internal Met with Linktree connected: it is done when the new promotion is at the top and the old one deactivated, or when it tells you how it is doing in clicks.

6 steps · 6 tools

The procedure, step by step

Each step shows the tool that runs. They belong to the real connector: if one of them stopped existing, this page would not build.

  1. 1

    Find the right profile

The Met lists the Linktree profiles your account can access and sets your business's as active. If you manage several, such as the store's and a personal one, it uses the one the skill names.

  2. 2

    Check the links already there

The Met pulls the profile's links in order to see where the previous promotion is and avoid adding a duplicate link.

  3. 3

    Add the new link

The Met adds the promotion link with the title you gave it, active and with Linktree's duplicate suppression option, so the same link does not appear twice.

  4. 4

    Move it to the top

The Met moves the new link to the profile's first position, so it is first on the list when someone comes from your bio.

  5. 5

    Deactivate the previous promotion

The Met sets the expired promotion's link to inactive. That way it stops showing on your page, but it is not deleted and you can turn it back on later.

  6. 6

Tell you how it is doing in clicks

When you ask, the Met pulls the new link's analytics, with clicks, views, click-through rate and trend, and tells you on WhatsApp whether the promotion is working.

What you need ready

The Met solves none of these for you. If one is missing, the automation stops there.

FAQ

Questions about this automation

No. The Met deactivates it, so it stops showing but stays in your account. Deleting links starts switched off and this procedure does not use it.

Whenever you want: you ask the Met and it pulls the link's clicks, views, click-through rate and trend. It is worth waiting a few days so there is data.

Yes, with other connector actions that change the profile's appearance and bio. This procedure only touches the links.
