Book a demo on WhatsApp with the rep Chili Piper assigns

An AI agent runs your Chili Piper router with the WhatsApp prospect's details, offers the availability and books the demo.

How do I book a demo from WhatsApp with the rep Chili Piper assigns, without sending the prospect to a form?

A Met connected to Chili Piper gathers in the WhatsApp conversation the details your Concierge router needs, runs that router so Chili Piper decides which rep gets it and checks the team's availability. It offers the prospect the times Chili Piper returned, books the meeting and confirms the details. If something looks off, your team checks the Concierge log to see why the case went to whom. The Met does not choose the rep or change your rules: that stays in Chili Piper.

What starts it

When the customer writes

It starts when a prospect writes on WhatsApp to ask for a demo or a meeting with sales. There is no trigger to configure: the Met assigned to the line runs the procedure inside that conversation.

Nothing to set up. The Met assigned to that channel picks up the conversation and runs the procedure inside it.

Who runs it

Demo scheduling Met

Customer service team

This is not a named, seeded Met. It is the Met that answers the sales WhatsApp, with Chili Piper connected. Its work ends when the demo is booked with the rep Chili Piper assigned and the prospect has the date and time.

6 steps · 6 tools

The procedure, step by step

Each step shows the tool that runs. They belong to the real connector: if one of them stopped existing, this page would not build.

  1. 1

Find the router your team uses

The Met lists the Concierge routers in your account and takes the one your team set in the skill, the same one your demo form uses. If it cannot find it, it does not improvise: it tells the prospect someone from the team will write to them.

  2. 2

Run the router with the chat details

With the details the prospect gave in the conversation, the ones your router asks for, the Met runs the router by its slug. Chili Piper decides which rep gets it under your rules; the Met does not choose on its own.

  3. 3

    Offer the team's availability

The Met checks the combined availability of the reps and offers the prospect the times Chili Piper returned, without making up others.

  4. 4

    Book the demo

When the prospect picks a time, the Met books through Concierge. The admin must have kept this action on, and the connected account needs the Chili Piper scheduling permission.

  5. 5

    Confirm the meeting details

The Met returns the details of the booked meeting and confirms on WhatsApp what Chili Piper recorded. If the prospect asks about their meeting later, it runs this check again.

  6. 6

Check the routing when something is off

If your team thinks the demo went to the wrong rep, they ask the Met for the Concierge log from the internal chat and review the decision Chili Piper made. Adjusting rules is done in Chili Piper.

FAQ

Questions about this automation

The ones your Concierge router needs to decide, and you set them in the skill. The Chili Piper documentation does not detail each tool's parameters, so the automation relies on your setup.

Yes. Chili Piper shows the combined availability of the reps and the router applies your rules to distribute; the Met does not change that distribution.

The automation does not move it. With cancelling turned on, the Met can cancel and book again; with it off, it lets your team know.

Because Chili Piper requires the Admin role to connect its MCP through OAuth. Once connected, the Met works with that connection's permissions.
