Tally and Meteor AI agents
Connect Tally to a Meteor AI agent: create and publish forms, share the link on WhatsApp and check the responses, with 19 tools.
How does Tally connect to Meteor?
With Tally connected, your Met finds the form you need, such as a sign up, a survey or a request, and shares the link with the person in the WhatsApp conversation. It then brings the submissions, filtered by status and dates, and confirms that person's response arrived. It also creates forms from a description, adds or reorders questions, changes text, design, settings and logic, and publishes them when you ask. New forms stay as private drafts until published. This page describes 19 tools from Tally's official server, which is free on all its plans.
What it automates
What a Meteor Met does with Tally
Share the right form in the chat
When someone wants to sign up or make a request, your Met finds the form in your Tally account and shares the link in the same WhatsApp conversation.
Confirm the response arrived
When the person says they filled it in, the Met brings the day's completed submissions, finds theirs and confirms what they recorded.
Create a form from a description
Your team describes to the Met the form it needs, with its questions. It creates it as a private draft and publishes it when the team asks.
Adjust a published form
If the sign up form is missing a question, the Met adds it and publishes the change. Until it does, people filling in the form still see the previous version.

The limits
What the Tally integration does NOT do
We would rather say it here than have you find out during rollout.
-
It does not delete forms or submissions. Tally does not allow it on its MCP server; removing questions, blocks or pages inside a form does exist and starts turned off.
-
It does not fill in the form for the person. The Met shares the link and the person answers in Tally.
-
It does not publish on its own. A new form stays as a private draft and question changes on a published form wait until they are published; design and settings apply right away.
-
It does not ask you for confirmation in the chat before writing. The workspace admin chooses which actions stay on in Connections.
-
It does not promise stability: Tally marks its MCP server as beta and warns it may change.
Before you start
What you need to connect Tally
- 1
A Tally account
The account your company already uses works. Tally offers its MCP server free on all its plans, including the free one, with no add on or upgrade.
- 2
Connect Tally in Met
In Met, open Connections → Tally → Connect. A Tally window opens so you sign in and authorize Met on your workspace.
- 3
Decide which actions stay on
The workspace admin chooses which actions stay on. Removing blocks, questions or pages starts turned off.
