Replit and Meteor AI agents
Connect Replit to a WhatsApp Met: create apps from a description, ask the agent about an app, request changes and publish it via the official MCP.
How does Replit connect to Meteor?
With the Replit ready-made connector, your Met uses Replit's official MCP server on the workspace you choose when authorizing with OAuth. From WhatsApp it can create a new app from a description, such as a website, a mobile app, a slide deck or a spreadsheet, find an app by its name, its link or when it was last changed, ask the Replit agent how something works without touching it, ask it for a change and publish the app or republish it with the latest changes. It reaches the apps the connected account can edit, including those shared with it.
What it automates
What a Meteor Met does with Replit
Ask for a change to the business's app
The owner writes on WhatsApp "add the new hours to the contact page". The Met finds the app by its name, asks the Replit agent for the change and tells them what it did.
Ask how something works
If someone on the team wants to know what a form does or where a figure comes from, the Met asks the Replit agent about the app without changing anything.
Publish and check the status
With the change ready, the Met publishes the app and checks the publish status until it has the public URL, which it shares in the conversation.
Start a new app from an idea
With a description on WhatsApp, for example a booking form or a pricing deck, the Met creates the new app in your Replit workspace.
8 tools
Everything your Met can ask Replit for
Each one is a real action in the connector. You can switch off the ones you would rather it never used.
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|

search_apps | Finds apps by title keywords, link or last change date, with up to 50 results. |
resolve_app_by_name | Finds one app by its exact title. |

ask_question | Asks the Replit agent about an app without changing it. |

The limits
What the Replit integration does NOT do
We would rather say it here than have you find out during rollout.
-
It does not ask for confirmation in the chat before changing or publishing an app. The admin decides in Connections which actions stay on; if you would rather review first, leave publishing off.
-
It does not reach apps the connected account cannot edit: if an app does not show up, check that the account has permission on it.
-
It does not wait out a long change: if a creation, change or publish is still running, you have to wait before asking again and check the status.
-
It does not replace a person's review: the Replit agent makes the change, but whoever knows the business decides whether it is right before publishing.
Before you start
What you need to connect Replit
- 1
A Replit account
The business's or the agency's Replit account works. When you connect, you choose the workspace the Met will work with.
- 2
Connect it in Met
In Met, open Connections → Replit → Connect. A Replit window opens so you can sign in, choose the workspace and authorize Met. Then you choose which actions stay on.
