monday.com and Meteor AI agents

Connect monday.com to a WhatsApp Met: read boards, create items, change columns and post updates for your team through the official MCP server.

How does monday.com connect to Meteor?

With the monday.com ready connector, your WhatsApp Met works on your company's boards with the account the admin authorizes. It reads a board's structure, goes through its items with filters and answers how a request or an order is going. If you turn it on, it also creates the item with what the customer asked for, changes its columns, moves it to another group, posts an update and alerts the person in charge with a monday.com notification. It is monday.com's official server: usage runs on your account, and the admin decides which actions stay on.

What it automates

What a Meteor Met does with monday.com

Open the customer's request as an item

If you turn it on, when someone asks for a service on WhatsApp your Met reads the requests board and creates the item with name, phone and details in the existing columns, in the right group.

Answer how the case is going

When the person writes again, the Met finds their item on the board and tells them the status, the date and the latest update your team left, without anyone checking for them.

Alert the owner inside monday.com

The Met posts an update on the item with a summary of the conversation and sends a notification to the user in charge, who sees it in the monday.com bell.

Move the item when the stage changes

With the customer's information, the Met changes the status or date columns and moves the item to the matching group, so the board reflects what happened in the chat.

The limits

What the monday.com integration does NOT do

We would rather say it here than have you find out during rollout.

Before you start

What you need to connect monday.com

  1. 1

A monday.com account with access to the boards

Connect with a monday.com user who can see the boards the Met will use. Authorization goes through the monday MCP app in the monday.com marketplace, where your account administrator controls it.

  2. 2

    Connect it in Met

In Met, open Connections → monday.com → Connect. A monday.com window opens so you can sign in and authorize Met. Then you choose which actions stay on.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about monday.com and Meteor

On the ones the authorizing account can edit. If you want it to touch only the requests board, connect with a user who only has access to that board.

None of the tools described deletes an item directly. The one that runs any API query could, which is why the admin should leave it off if it is not needed.

The Met can post an update on the item and send them a bell notification, with an email if you ask for it. The alert arrives inside monday.com, not on WhatsApp.

You do, with your monday.com account. Meteor does not resell monday.com: the connector uses your company's account and its API limits.
