Lovable and Meteor AI agents
Connect Lovable to a WhatsApp Met: ask your project's agent for changes, review what changed and publish the app with the official MCP server.
How do I ask for changes to my Lovable app from a WhatsApp Met?
With the Lovable ready-made connector, your Met uses Lovable's official MCP server on the account the admin authorizes with OAuth. From WhatsApp it can find your projects, send a project's agent the change the owner or your agency's client asks for, wait for its answer, review the diff and the edit history, publish the app and pull its visits. It also reads and changes the project knowledge; querying its Lovable Cloud database starts switched off until the admin turns it on. Creating a project and sending messages to the agent spend credits from your Lovable plan; publishing returns the app's live URL. It works on any Lovable plan.
What it automates
What a Meteor Met does with Lovable
Ask for a change from WhatsApp
The owner writes "change the hours on the contact page". The Met finds the project, sends that request to the Lovable agent, waits for its answer and tells them what it did.
Review what changed before publishing
Once the change is done, the Met pulls the diff or the edit history and sums it up in plain words, so someone can decide whether to publish.
Publish and send back the link
If the admin left publishing on, the Met publishes the app and sends the live URL. Lovable refuses to publish if the security scan found unresolved critical findings.
See how the published app is doing
The Met pulls the visits, the most viewed pages and where people come from, or the real-time visits, and sums it up for the owner on WhatsApp.

Everything your Met can ask Lovable for
Each one is a real action in the connector. You can switch off the ones you would rather it never used.

The limits
What the Lovable integration does NOT do
We would rather say it here than have you find out during rollout.
-
It does not ask for confirmation in the chat before sending a change or publishing. The admin decides in Connections which actions stay on; if you would rather review first, leave publishing off.
-
It is not free per message: each request to the project's agent and each new project spend credits from your Lovable plan.
-
It is not limited to one project: the connection reaches every project and workspace the authorized account can reach, within the permissions approved when connecting.
-
It does not protect the database on its own: the SQL query runs with full database permissions, including writes and structure changes. That is why it starts switched off until the admin turns it on.
-
It does not add connectors to the Lovable workspace: this page does not include those tools, and Lovable says connectors are always added from its interface.
Before you start
What you need to connect Lovable
- 1
A Lovable account with MCP client access
Any plan works. External MCP client access is on by default on Free, Pro and Business; on Enterprise a workspace admin turns it on in the security settings.
- 2
Connect it in Met
In Met, open Connections → Lovable → Connect. A Lovable window opens so you can sign in and authorize Met. Then you choose which actions stay on.
Frequently asked questions
Questions about Lovable and Meteor
Yes, if the publish action is on. If you want to review every change, leave it off in Connections and publish yourself from Lovable.
Whatever Lovable charges in credits for that message to the agent. Reading projects, files, diffs or analytics does not spend credits, according to Lovable's documentation.
Yes: the connected account sees every project and workspace it can access, and the Met finds the project by its name before asking for the change.
You do, with your Lovable plan and credits. Meteor does not resell Lovable: the connector uses your company's or your agency's account.
